4th of July

I'm starting to get very good with the trycicle. I'm already asking for a 'bike'.

Kai is also getting good with the bike....in pulling it. He actually will sit on his trike and drag himself along.

Giving Kai a push on my bike.

It was a hot day, so we then all went to the pool. Its been fully remodeled and lucky its only 1 block away.

Enjoying a light bbq prior to heading to the fireworks.

Choco kept trying to take our food, so we have to be careful with him.

Relaxing at the Tustin High School getting ready to see the big show. I LOVED IT!

3rd Annual Summer Camping Trip

We all went to Idyllwild for our 3rd annual camping trip in the mountains.

Here we are on the first day. Papa and mama took days off from work so we could be up here.

This year we stayed in cabing #12. It was very cozy.

Cabin came with 2 Beds in each room. Perfect for the kids.

Kai outside the cabin, getting ready to start the day.

There is a nice little playground. Some of us went out there to play.

Heading down the slide with Skylar. Note Kai went up and down and up and down. It was hard to get him to stop.

Getting ready to do the korean bbq. The bbq lasted for hours with lots of drinks for papa and friends.

Of course, what's being out here without getting dirty?

We headed to the showers after this.

Headkig out to the creek next to the cabins. The water was COLD!

But, water is water and we had lots of fun!

Playing together with Kai.

Papa went hiking to the top with the other dad's while the mom's stayed back.

Part of the hking trail.

The creek.

And, best of all the view from the top. Papa said he loved the hiking up here and can't wait for me and Kai to get older, though its very steep.

Crystal Cove Beach

Today, we all went to the Crystal Cove Beach. I decided to bring my own backpack to the beach.

I played and played with the waves coming in.

The waves were sooooooo exciting. I just love the water.

Look at me run away from the waves.

Deciding whether I should go into the water or not. I'm a good swimmer...but these waves?!

Kai also was deciding whether to go into the water, or just play with the sand.

He decided to mostly just play in the sand.

And continue playing with the sand.

Papa and I deciding how far to get into the water.

Again, Kai playing with the sand and his truck. Will Luna come and play with me?

Deciding to play with sand. But had Papa build me a hole and fill it with water.

Mama out here having fun.

She chased us all and was pouring water on us.

It was such a GREAT day. Beautiful blue sky and nice cool breeze. The nice part (what isn't) of living in Southern California.

Family vistit from San Diego

My Tio, Tia and cousins Dario and Joaquin came to visit us last weekend. My cousins are such clowns.

Of course, I then had to join them with their clown faces/poses.

Everyone eating some good food and catching up.

Choco coming in to try and sneek some food.

Joaquing showing me how to jump. Should I do it?

Of course!!!

Maiya and Kenji's Bday party

We went to our friends house to celebrate their birthdays.

Their mama and papa had a small petting zoo for everyone to enjoy.

Kai spent a loooooooong time petting the animals.

Me? I went and spent my time chasing bubbles from the bubble machine with everyone else.

So, what's the best thing of a birthday party that I kept looking for? A pinata full of candy! I'm getting very good at hitting them at birthday parties, but I still can't break them :(

Mama had to stay home because she was sick and we missed her, but it was still a fun day.

Memorial Day at Long Beach

Mama is in Pittsburg for the week, so Papa took us to Long Beach for the day. First stop: Aquarium of the Pacific

We spent some time outside petting the sharks...we were not scared at all. They had some fish in there that looked like Dory from Finding Nemo. (Of course, when they came home, that's what they wanted to see at night.)

They have an aquarium where the waves move up & down. We just stared at it for what seemed like hours!

It was a BEAUTIFUL day in Long Beach. We went to a small park outside the aquarium to enjoy the weather. Here I am with the Long Beach Lighthouse in the background.

You can see the Queen Mary ship in the back. We wanted to ride it...but it was too far away.

Playing together.

At the end of the day, Kai refused to go. He can be very stubborn? and will be in his own little world. He is totally different from Luna. Luna would be crying/screaming if left along. Kai would be happy.
