Second camping day

We continued with fun all day long by going back out to play and go on rides, including getting on top of a big ferris wheel with a view of the lake. We're already thinking of coming back in the future to spend time together out here in the mountains.

After lots of playing (and a shower and nap), we prepared to go to the section of the camp where we could do a BBQ. There were many, many people there. We had 4 BBQ sets and tables reserved for us, with lots of food (and drinks for the adults). After eating and playing, we went and did hanabi. It was a long, but fun day!

Camping at Sagamiko during Obon Week

We decided to go with friends for camping at Sagamiko. Papa rented a car (will be buying a car soon!) so we could go there. Though it was only about 50 miles away, it took 3 hrs to get there, even when we left at 5:30 in the morning! Sooo many people leave Tokyo to get out for the 3 day holiday. The place we went to was both a campinng site and part amusement park/outside playground. It had TONS of mazes and games that you could play in. Everyone had a very fun time...though it was hot and humid.
